Mysti Murphy began her career as a lawyer in 1998. From 1999 to 2006, she worked as an assistant district attorney in Dallas County. During her time in this position, she served as chief felony prosecutor and specialized trial prosecutor, primarily in the area of domestic violence. From 2006 to 2008, she served as a prosecutor in San Antonio.
Among her many significant accomplishments:
- Being named Prosecutor of the Year for Dallas County in 2005
- Serving as a member of the Texas Governor’s Subcommittee on the Violence Against Women Act
- Working with the Dallas Domestic Violence Task Force
- Acting as a consultant on domestic violence for a documentary produced by the Lifetime Television Network
In 2008, Attorney Murphy brought her impressive experience to the area of family law, forming this law firm. Her background allows her to take on unusually challenging cases involving child custody and other matters, cases that require a more aggressive approach.
