Mysti Murphy has been an attorney since 1998. Among her many significant accomplishments, Mysti is a former Dallas County Assistant District Attorney, serving as Chief Felony Prosecutor and Specialized Trial Prosecutor, primarily in the area of domestic violence.
Mysti is an established law lecturer and trial skills instructor, having presented to judges, attorneys, police, probation officers, law students, advocates, and counselors.
She was a consultant on domestic violence for a documentary produced by the Lifetime Television Network, and has also consulted for the City of Dallas Domestic Violence Task Force. In addition, Mysti Murphy was a member of the Texas Governor’s Subcommittee on the Violence Against Women Act.
Heather Hudson is an associate attorney with the Mysti Mysti Murphy Law Firm. Heather graduated from St. Mary’s School of Law in December 2016 and was licensed to practice law in Texas in May 2017. In 2011 Heather obtained her Master’s in Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Prior to becoming at attorney, Heather served in the United States Air Force as an acquisitions officer. Heather also worked as a contractor supporting various DoD programs for seven years. Ms. Hudson brings the same dedication to our firm that she brought to the military and her DoD contracting. Ms. Hudson is a member of the State Bar of Texas, San Antonio, Bar Association and the Family Law Section of the San Antonio Bar Association. Heather is also a part of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Society.
Since 2005, Kate has been doing litigation in Family Law, Personal Injury and Insurance Defense. She obtained her Legal Assistant Certificate with highest honors and provides invaluable support during all phases of litigation. In addition to scheduling appointments, Kate assists with meeting clients, drafting documents, attending court appearances, instructing experts and speaking with opposing counsel.
Kathryn is our legal assistant who is training to become a paralegal. Kathryn answers phones, schedules appointments, organizes files, and performs any other duties the legal team needs. She also assists the team in drafting necessary documents, as well as assembling discovery and inventory.
